Hi there, Mafiosi and all our associates!
Some of you may be interested in our activities at the Mafia Vacation 2013 (Crimea, Gurzuf). So, here is just one of the days our English speaking club have had…
06:45. Morning time. Ovsyanka Team (oat meal eaters) usually wakes up earlier, because they like to begin the day with a very healthy breakfast and a nice morning walk to the sea. The pleasant thing was that other Mafia members, who don’t share our crazy style mornings, also woke up with Ovsyanka Team, so we had a nice Family breakfast all together with 10 of us (BTW, good amount of people, ha? :))
At the breakfast time we were discussing our plans for the day. We didn’t have any plan before, because we believe the best vacation you get is when you have a high ability to change plans. The best way to accomplish that is PLANNING NOTHING in advance and “cross the bridge when you get to it”!
This time the group decided to split. So, I will tell you the story of the “band” I was part of that day.
08:30am. The whole vacation Family was having fun near the sea. We started from lots of jumping, a quick photo session, sunbathing, swimming, swimming and swimming…
When the sun became tough – we left the beach for lunch and meeting one more friend of ours…
12:30am. Our old Mafia mate, Joe C, arrived from Odessa to join us for the rest of the Vacation. We met him with a warm “Hello!” and a very tasty lunch, so he could quickly get himself ready for the adventures that were coming.
02:30pm. Six of us left our house for some crazy swimming, crazy jumping and doing a bit of a real crime… We rented a catamaran and went to the rocks in the sea (at around 700 meters from the bank). I couldn’t stand jumping from those beautiful rocks, so I climbed and did.
At the same time other guys were breaking the law by getting us mussels for an upcoming dinner. Of course I joined them in that fun activity, so we got 2 heavy bags of a high quality sea mussels (мидии).
When we got back to the beach we were told if get cought with those bags we might get in trouble. So, that’s a simple way how our peaceful rest could’ve ended up as a “fun time” of hard negotiations with police. Fortunately for the local police we got home with our trophies safe and quick.
09:00pm. A big full pot is boiling with hundreds of sea mussels inside… A bloody tasty shashlyk is being cooked on the fire… And a lot of really nice and friendly people are hanging out with each other all over the place…
Now, for me it’s time to get myself ready to «kill» extremely tasty dinner with my dearest Mafia friends!.. So, kill you later, my friends.
